Family medicine is a medical specialty within primary care that provides continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and parts of the body. This includes:

Caring for patients regardless of age or health condition, sustaining an enduring and trusting relationship

Understanding community-level factors and social determinants of health

Serving as a patient’s first contact for health concerns

Annual Visits (Preventative Care) including pap smears and routine blood tests
Pediatric visits including back-to-school certifications
University entrance physical
Food handler certificate
Urgent care including acute illnesses of all types, abscesses, suturing and ear syringing
Early prenatal care
